Welcome to my TOS & Additional Information Page~!
I ask that all those who receive art from me or would like to do so read my TOS, Additional Information & Blacklist before doing so. Violation of these terms can lead to permanent blacklisting. These terms and information is universal across all of my artwork, no matter the content or type of art it is.

Commissioning me means you have automatically agreed to all of my TOS & Additional Information and I may act if my terms are violated. Some violations may result in permanent blacklisting.

𖹭.ᐟ Important Note

I am known to rely on and utilise PHOTOGRAPH images in my artwork. This can consist of: tracing over, referencing, taking inspiration from, colour picking etc. To the best of my knowledge, I use f2u images etc. I try to refrain from heavily tracing and referencing sources I am using and only utilise images that are free property or I have permission to use. If this is something you are uncomfortable with then DO NOT commission me. Additionally, if you have any IRL images you'd like for me to use, please send them my way, although this is also up to my own discretion and choice! I will try to use them for the most part. I am slowly moving forward with my artwork and hoping to abandon tracing photographs soon.If you do not send me any source images I will go ahead and locate my own. You may request the original source(s) I have used at your own discretion. Furthermore, if you’d like a timelapse, I can provide it at any time during the commission; however I do not actively turn this feature on in my program and thus if you ask me from the start, you will see the entire process. If you do not, you will only see my process from the point of hitting record.

I DO NOT use AI to produce, edit or change my artwork in ANY WAY. YOU may NOT utilise my artwork to produce any kind of AI work, if you do, YOU WILL BE BLACKLISTED AUTOMATICALLY. I will not accept artwork that you have AI generated either, I may only utilise AI work as a reference point LOOSELY. If I find out you have produced AI work regardless of whether or not you fed my work into an engine or somebody else's, YOU WILL BE BLACKLISTED & BLOCKED on all platforms.

Terms Of ServiceI am only able to accept Paypal currently as a form of payment.

1. My Estimated Completion Times ('ECT') for all pieces are automatically set to 3 months regardless of the piece. This can be discussed and negotiated via either of my contact methods, though an additional 'rush fee' may be implemented. I typically finish work within 3 weeks of taking the commission, however the 3 month clause is put in place to allow myself as much time as possible.1.1. Those who have paid a rush fee of any sort will automatically be prioritised with the shortest request time being top. Priority pieces are labelled on my Trello and ordered from top priority to 'least'. Above all else, commissions will always take priority in general.2. Payment Plans are available. All pieces excluding any refined sketches with a single character have a 50/50 Payment Plan in place. 50% of the total payment is taken after the sketch phase for my time and work. This is only refundable if I have not started the sketch by the time you request the refund. Requests for the first 50% of the payment after sketch completion will be rejected and I may refuse to finish the work. The final 50% is taken after total completion of the piece and you will not receive the piece until the payment is made. If any additional tweaks and edits need to be made, I will accomodate as best as I can but I will not accept any refunds after this point.3. Refunds can only be offered in certain situations.3.1. I do not offer refunds if the sketch is near completion. Under severe or emergency circumstances, I may be able to accommodate a refund. In this instance however, you will not receive art from me.4. I am unlikely to make edits/tweaks after the colouring stage. The sketch will always be sent in for approval and then the flat colour will follow afterwards (if applicable), if you are unsatisfied with anything it will need to be known during these stages otherwise I will not accommodate changes. Minor changes like how a piece of jewellery is drawn or a pattern not quite being accurate may be accommodated upon request.5. Copyright & Advertising Rights still belong to me despite commissioning me, the only thing you own will be your character/your own intellectual property. I will not and do not sell copyright & advertising rights. If you would like to use my art to advertise (i.e. Commissioning me to create a promotional piece) please ask. Be aware that extra charges may apply.5.1. Posting of my artwork is permitted but credit is required if posted online/on any socials. Credit can be provided just with my name (@justlotuss).5.2. I do not automatically give permission to edit my art in any way shape or form without permission, please ask me. This means: No colouring, no editing, no lining, no lighting/shading changes etc.5.3. My work is not permitted to be used in media such as edits, AMVs or videos without permission. My signature/watermarks are not to be edited or removed in any way.6. For any characters/designs bought from me, they must only be resold at the same price or at a lesser price than what you bought them from me for unless they have additional art, in which case the respective worth of those pieces of work may be added to the original price of the design.6.1. Characters uploaded to Toyhou.se must have credit linking back to myself. My TH is justlotuss.6.2. I ask that I am notified whenever an OC/Design/Adopt from me is sold onto someone else so that I can keep track of where it is and who has it. This helps me to protect my IP. This is automatically done through Toyhou.se but for those not on TH, please contact me via email or discord.7. Respect what I will and won’t draw as well as any boundaries I establish in general. If you are unsure then please ask but if any pushing on the matter persists you may be blacklisted and I will refuse work.8. As of June 2026 I will keep a list and log of those who have commissioned me/own my designs (username, piece type, worth etc). This is something I do purely just to keep track of things so please be aware of that. If you have commissioned me before the date mentioned, please reach out to me so I can add you to it.9. Please do not distribute any personal/sensitive information about myself that may be shared through Paypal when making a payment. This will result in blacklisting, just because my legal name is visible to you does not mean I want it going around or being called by it etc.By commissioning me or purchasing any of my work, you automatically agree to my TOS and acknowledge it. I reserve the right to utilise my best judgement and comfort to refuse work/refunds as I see fit. If you have ANY questions always contact me, the quickest method of which is via discord.

Additional Information

1. I have 6 slots automatically open on the 1st of every month. These slots stretch across all of my commission types. To check the status of all my available slots for the month, please refer to the 'READ ME' section on my Trello.1.1. Furry Reference Sheets are excluded from this rule and are strictly limited to 3 open on the 1st of every month. YCHs are also excluded and have a set amount of slots open at any given time etc by myself. This information can be found on my TH where all my YCHs are posted.1.2. Certain commission options may be closed or unavailable despite available slots, this information can be found on my Trello. Please contact me if you have any questions about that.2. A wait list may be implemented from time to time. The status of all my work can be found on my Trello and those on a waiting list can also be found on my Trello, with those at the top of the list labelled as priorities. Regardless of the worth of the work, those who have been waiting the longest are automatically at the top of the list unless a rush fee has been paid by another/other commissioners (Refer to terms 1 & 1.1.)3. YCHs, Further Art Examples & Characters being sold can be found on my Toyhou.se. A button linked to my TH can be found at the bottom of my page. You will require an account to be able to view my profile.
4. Generally speaking, my prices are NON-NEGOTIABLE. That said, if you ever have any sort of questions or requests about the cost, please let me know and I may be able to accommodate you. People who abuse this will be blacklisted.4.1. In some cases I may discuss the cost of a commission with you depending on the request I am accommodating. This usually means an increase may be mentioned. I.E. Extreme gore or a piece with many utensils may cost slightly more to produce, but this is always a conversation I will have with you first and I am more than willing to negotiate.5. Please convert your currency to GBP (£) before sending payments if applicable as Paypal takes a % of payments from me. This helps me keep track of payments better. If sending in your own currency, please ensure the conversion is correct/equal to my currency.

Blacklist

Users on this list are not permitted to receive art from me or own any of my designs/adopts. If you own something from me already, you will be allowed to keep it, however you will not be allowed to receive anything more from me.

Automatic Blacklisting Offences
1. Tracing my work without permission
2. Heavily referencing my work without permission
3. Reselling my work on its own
4. Reposting my work and claiming it as your own
5. Selling my designs onto already blacklisted people
6. Heavily violating my TOS
7. Malicious intention (I.E. Purposefully spreading harmful misinformation about myself etc.)
8. Spreading my personal information around/referring to me by it without explicit permission to do so.
9. If you're just a bad person! Racists, biggots, homophobes etc are NOT welcomed by me.I will not draw characters that belong to blacklisted people even if the commissioner is not the blacklisted person/the character is additional. I reserve the right to request proof of ownership of any characters I find 'suspicious' in this sense. If I later find out the character belonged to a blacklisted individual or my art/designs are sold to a blacklisted person, you will be blacklisted too.
